Meet The People of EPI-HAB
Epi-Hab was started in 1958 by a group of business and medical professionals who volunteered their time and efforts to form a company "to provide employment opportunities for individuals with epilepsy." Epi-Hab's emphasis remains the same, focus on the ability of the employee not the disability.
Matt Redmann - Executive Director
Matt, employed since the summer of 2006, is the newest member of Epi-Hab's family. Originally from Wisconsin, Matt has management experience with both "for-profit" and "not-for-profit" businesses. Call Matt with any Epi-Hab concerns or questions and he'll get you an answer.
Bill Bushyeager - Assistant Manager
Bill began his service with Epi-Hab in 1985. Bill is very much involved in customer service and estimating. He is a great organizer and personally supervises the record keeping of inventory for several of our production and fulfillment customers. Bill’s attention to detail has saved customers thousands of dollars. Feel free to call Bill with any questions or requests for quotations.
Stan Svancara - Controller
Stan began his service with Epi-Hab in 1988 after many years as an employee in the financial sector of Arizona Public Service. Stan had contacts with Epi-Hab as an employee of APS and actually became familiar with Epi-Hab because he used Epi-Hab services each year. He started his service at Epi-Hab as a Production Supervisor. He moved into his current position after the retirement of the previous controller. Stan is more than just the Epi-Hab Controller. His computer and mechanical skills get him involved in many of the technical aspects of Epi-Hab. When there is a problem to be solved, quite often Stan is involved in the solution.
Bonnie Scott - Production Supervisor
Bonnie began her employment at Epi-Hab in 1979. She came in as a temporary employee and never left. Bonnie’s skills became noticeable from the first. Show her a job and she’ll work to find the best way to get it done. Her commitment to quality has won her the confidence of many, many Epi-Hab customers. Many of the customers know her and they know they’re in good hands. She has the ability to show and train others how to do the job, getting the work done correctly and in a timely manner. Bonnie, while employed at Epi-Hab, became proficient in American sign language giving her the ability to easily communicate with our deaf employees. Bonnie is a very special person.
Patsy Lara - Assistant Production Supervisor
Patsy is Bonnie's "right hand" assistant and supervises most production floor operations. Patsy has been with Epi-Hab since 1992 and can satisfy just about any customer needs.
Pete Lerma - Truck Driver
More than just a truck driver, Pete has been with Epi-Hab since 1973. Pete is Epi-Hab’s ambassador of good will and has received many compliments for the extra service he gives to our customers. Pete hasn’t missed more than two days of work in the last 15 years. What more can you ask for!
